'Ready to Burn' Accredited
This 0.62m³ dumpy bag is filled to the brim with mixed-species kiln-dried hardwood logs, dried to approximately 15% moisture content and ready to burn immediately.
Our logs are cut and split in-house to a standard 25cm (10") length, with a typical diameter of 5–15cm. This size is suitable for the vast majority of modern 5kW+ wood-burning stoves and open fires without any further preparation. However, we recommend keeping a chopping block and medium splitting axe handy for the occasional larger piece.
Need Smaller Logs?
If you have a smaller stove, we recommend our 20cm (8") logs, which are designed to fit even the smallest appliances.
We also stock 33cm and 40cm logs.
Please note:
- Shorter logs carry a small surcharge because they pack more efficiently into each bag, increasing the overall weight and volume of wood. They also produce more sawdust and waste during processing.
- Larger logs are slightly cheaper because they require fewer cuts and result in a slightly lighter bag.
How Long Will a Bag Last?
Usage varies considerably between households, but as a guide, one bag should provide around 7 weeks' worth of fuel for an average user burning for approximately 10 hours per week during a typical British winter.
Some customers make a bag last the entire season, while others return every month—we're always happy to see you whenever you need more.
Sustainably Sourced Hardwood
Our hardwood is typically a mix of one or more of the following species:
- Ash
- Sycamore
- Birch
- Beech
- Cherry
- Alder
- Oak
- Hawthorn
- Chestnut
- Elm
We source our timber as locally as possible from sustainably managed private estates and publicly managed woodlands, supporting local forestry and rural businesses.
Suitable for Pizza Ovens
These logs are generally suitable for pizza ovens, although for optimum performance we recommend using a single species such our 100% Ash Pizza Logs or Kiln Dried Beech

Your logs are delivered in a reusable dumpy bag. We do not charge a bag deposit, but we kindly ask that you return the bag during your next delivery wherever possible. Reusing bags helps reduce plastic waste and unnecessary costs.
Bag Size
The stated volume of 0.62m³ is based on the bag's internal dimensions when empty (82 × 82 × 92cm). In practice, the bags typically hold closer to 0.7m³ when filled.
Please note that bags may bulge or change shape when filled, and logs may settle during storage and transport.
