One 0.25m3 bag of mixed species Kiln Dried hardwood logs and one 0.25m3 bag of mixed species Kiln Dried softwood logs, dried on site to approx 15% moisture and ready to burn immediately. Cut and split by ourselves to a standard 25cm length with a diameter of 5-15cm generally.
Our most convenient bag to handle, we'll take this bag right to your storage area with our sack barrow** for no extra charge so you don't even need to handle them other than to put in the fire, they even have a showerproof top flat to keep most of the weather out. One of these bags of logs should keep the average user warm through a fortnight of British weather.
Our hardwood is usually a combination of the following species: Ash, Sycamore, Birch, Beech, Cherry, Alder, Oak or Elm. Our softwood is a usually a combination of Larch, Spruce and Pine. Cut from local, managed, estate woodlands employing local people and businesses.
Delivered free of charge to the majority of TS postcodes and a number of DL postcodes too (check our delivery area). No bag deposit but we do ask that you make every effort to return the bag to us on our next visit to be refilled for the next customer.
Price is for 2 barrow bags unless multiple are purchased and does not include kindling pictured.
*Bag volume is calculated by the bag dimensions when empty which is now 48x48x95cm with a tie down lid.
** No more than 1 step en-route and the passage must be at least the width of a pedestrian door and hard-paved.
